Meet Pookie
Pookie is a gentle, lowkey girl with a big heartand a big love for food.
She enjoys spending time with her people and adores cozy bedding where she
can snuggle up and relax. Pookie is curious about toys and is just
beginning to learn how to play with them, which is a joy to watch.
She will need time to settle in and decompress, so a calm and predictable
environment will help her feel secure. Pookie has had some positive
interactions with other dogs at the shelter and may be able to live with a
mellow, well-matched dog companion. She could also potentially live with a
dog-savvy cat or respectful children who understand her need for space and
gentle interactions.
Pookie is ready to blossom in a home that values her sweet, sensitive
