These little bundle of joys make every day brighter!

Meet the MERRY litter - a group of 6 1/2 month old, Lab / Hound mix puppies who were found as strays on the side of the road. We included a group photo of the 10 pups when we originally found them on the side of the road. They were scared and hungry, but now they are all happy and healthy and ready to find their forever families!

Moki Merry currently weighs 32 pounds (as of 5/8/25). These pups are super sweet and love getting attention. They will return the favor by smothering you in their puppy kisses. They love to play with their siblings, balls and dog toys. They will need families who are committed to their training, but we know that they will adapt to their forever homes quickly!

His foster mom shares: “Moki has really settled into life here. He is such a good boy in his crate, sleeping through the night without making a peep. He’s working on house training and basic manners! He’s already mastered sit and getting there with loose leash walking he seems really eager to learn and please. He loves to play with toys and follows my resident dog around to play. He is very happy to play with her or by himself, and he’s very good at understanding dog’s social cues when interacting. Overall he’s a great pup! And just look at those ears!!”

We took him on 2 adventures: Friday we took him to a local brewery and we sat outside and he was a total ham with the table next to us and then Sunday we took him to our local ice cream stand and he also got all sorts of attention from kids and adults. He’s very sweet, a typical puppy, loves people and other dogs. His ears are a whole personality themselves.

He is an absolute love bug, loves people and dogs. He’s obsessed w my husband. Overall he’s a pretty mellow personality, but he does have playful puppy energy! He sleeps in his crate through the night! He’s a gem!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
