Sweet little Josie is quite a treat of a dog! An estimated 1.5 year old Shepherd mix from the valley, Josie is still adjusting to her new environment—the big city. At times, she has to be really enticed to leave her room, but no fear! Positive reinforcement, treats, and love are here! We help Josie grow her confidence by allowing her to take the next steps when she feels ready. Currently, we avoid busier streets and stick to alleyways or generally quieter times of the day, if she feels up for exploring. Day by day, we see Josie evolving. A trait of hers that’s been undeniable from the beginning is her sweeter than sugar personality. She’s always leaned on the humans (literally) for comfort and enjoyed cuddles galore.
