Meet Tessa! Tessa has been in a foster home for several weeks, and frankly… no notes. She’s apt to go with the flow. Couch time? She’s in. You’re in meetings? She can take a hint and go do her own thing. She’s gotta go potty? She’ll wait til you’re ready to go outside. Tessa settled into a home routine like no other – name another shelter dog who hasn’t even needed a crate.
Every now and then she’ll slip up and show a crack in her perfect exterior by barking at a rabbit, squirrel, or another dog. But to be honest, if she didn’t, we’d be worried that she isn’t even real. What kind of dog DOESN’T know that squirrels are monsters disguised in small furry bodies? Fake dogs, that’s who. Tessa would prefer a quiet neighborhood, where she won’t see many other dogs on walks. She could live with another dog if it’s a good match, but they’ll need to come meet her at the shelter prior to adoption.
