Meet Oso, a gentle old soul with a heart full of love and an underbite that will absolutely steal yours! At his wise senior age, Oso is the definition of mellow. He is just a laid-back lover who’s happy to go with the flow. He’s curious about the world, enjoys short strolls to sniff around, and then is perfectly content to curl up for snuggles. Oso gets along well with other dogs and brings a peaceful, sweet presence wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing companion with a quirky smile, Oso is your guy!Here’s some notes from his foster:Oso is showing progress in leash walking, with consistent effort, treats and positive reinforcement He is a strong, energetic, fast walker with an occasional pull. He does much better when we walk in the evenings or early AM and there is very little foot trafficOso has shown great improvement from zig zagging on walks, and yesterday we had a significant milestone where Oso, on his own, turned back to look at me for my approval. He’s very treat focused, and shows he can do wonderful sits. I think Oso would benefit from a quieter neighborhood.In my apartment, he’s a quick learner. I’ve worked with him to not follow me everywhere, and he’s done great. i.e., wait on one side of the room when I enter another. He loves to snuggle, doesn’t bark when I leave, and enjoys a nice long nap when I’m working at home! Oso is very very sweet!
