Meet Roscoe - a 3.5 month old, Boxer mix, who weighs 19 pounds (as of 6/18/25). This boy was found as a stray with a litter of pups. He's sweet, playful and ready to find his forever family!

His foster shares: "Roscoe is a sweet & chunky puppy! He is outgoing, people centered and very well socialized. In our foster home, he is smothered with love and attention! Our family is teaching him house manners and how to play. Roscoe is a super sweet and funny puppy who gets along with everyone. He would be a great addition to a family with kids because he would make a great companion for children. He's still young and will need a family who is committed to continuing his training. We know he’s going make a great addition to your home!"

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
