This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Millie Mellow - a beautiful gal who was found as a stray with her sister Maggie Mellow in Mississippi. Her sister Maggie has found her perfect fur-ever home - but poor Millie has been looking for her forever family for over almost two years now!! She would love to have a doggie sibling but it's not required. At the time of this updated posting on 6/23 she is a 2 yr old, 45 pound, Plott Hound/Boxer mix gal. She is really smaller than she looks because she is a petite gal.

Millie is a young soul who's as sweet as sugar. She's a cuddly companion whose gentle nature is sure to warm your heart! Millie can be a little shy, but don't let that fool you. She's friendly to all who show her kindness. Speak to her softly, with patience and love, and you'll find a loyal friend for life. She's a loving dog whose heart is as big as her spirit. Her soft whimpers and wagging tail tell a story of a pup who just wants to love and be loved. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
