Meet Bandit
This little old man with the big personality is Bandit. Bandit is a verygood boy who loves hanging out with his people. If you sit beside him onthe couch long enough, he is guaranteed to ask you for a belly rub. Bandithas lived with dogs before and he enjoys meeting other dogs here at theshelter. So, he would probably do well living with another dog in thefuture. When a dog is small like Bandit, it is really hard to be brave.Bandit finds new people very scary. He is hoping for adopters who willinitially keep his world small and safe. We do not know if Bandit has everlived with a cat. That is a possibility, maybe starting with completeseparation at first. Bandit did not enjoy living with a toddler. However,he might do okay with older children who can understand dog body languageand give him his space.
Would you like to meet this good boy? Come say hello to Bandit at theMSPCA in Methuen on Tuesdays through Sundays from 12PM to 4:30PM.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
