The MANGO litter is ready to be your ZEST friend ever! They are ripe for snuggles, and always in season.

Mateo Mango and his siblings are 12 week old, German Wire-haired Pointer / Wire Fox Terrier mixes who were rescued in Tennessee after being found as strays. As of 7/10/25, Mateo Mango weighs 12 pounds.

His foster shares: "Mateo Mango is an adorably scruffy little puppy with the most soulful eyes! He is friendly, happy, healthy and ready to find his forever family. He loves to explore the outside smells, roll in the grass and play in the yard with his 3 foster pups. He is working on bell training to go outside and has been doing great. His favorite toys appear to be any that crinkle and he can entertain himself for quite some time. He is outgoing and pretty calm for being so young which would make him a great puppy for young kids. He loves people and if you sit on the floor with him he will climb right into your lap for some good loving. When it is naptime, he loves to snuggle right up to his humans if there is a free body to cuddle with him. He is being crate trained and has been keeping it dry and letting us know when he needs to go outside. He is curious about the cats and wants to be their friends but is still a little afraid of them because they talk a lot. He hasn’t learned to walk on a leash yet, but when he does, we know he will make a good walking buddy. He is getting lots of love while he waits for his forever home!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
