Meet Lyca, a beautiful 80-pound girl ready to find her fresh start with the right family! This big, strong lady is looking for a patient and dedicated home where she can thrive. Lyca is dog-selective, meaning shell need to meet any potential canine siblings here at the shelter to make sure its a good fit. She loves to play, but a tolerant and well-matched dog sibling who is okay with slower introductions is ideal.
If you have children, they should be old enough to participate directly in her training and meet her here at the shelter before taking her home.
Once Lyca gets comfortable with you, shes a total cuddle bug with tons of energy! She loves long, sniffy walks and running around the yard with tennis balls, and is ready to become your loyal companion. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
