His name says it all - this guy will be your BFF and real life teddy bear!
Meet Buddy Aero - a 2.5 year old, Husky / Shepherd mix, who weighs 72 pounds (as of 2/28/25). Buddy Aero was surrendered to us because the resident in his previous home was not a fan of sweet Buddy Aero! We know there's a loving family out there who will welcome Buddy Aero with open arms!
His foster shares: "Buddy Aero is a sweet, playful, friendly and gentle soul. He loves to go for rides in the car and be your co-pilot. This guy's tail is always wagging! He is always happy and his tail is always wagging - he makes friends wherever he goes! He loves playing with other pups, and also gets along great with children. Despite his experience with the resident cat in his last home, Buddy Aero does fine with cats (it's more important to make sure the cats are fine with him!) This fun loving guy also knows when it is time to relax with his people. He always has a happy faces and is ready to give you doggy kisses. Buddy Aero is the kind of companion who is always by your side, whether its for an adventure or a quiet evening at home. This boy is ready to share his love and loyalty with a family who will cherish him. He will be a wonderful and loving addition to a lucky person / family!"

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
