The Toothiest Lovebug You’ll Ever Meet!

Meet Toby - a 14 year old, Peke - a - Poo (Pekingese / Poodle mix), who weighs 12 pounds (as of 8/1/25). This boy comes to us as a surrender as his pervious family moved to a new residence where there is a zero dog policy. It's no fault of his own and Toby is looking for a new forever family to call his own.

Toby has the cutest underbite we've ever seen! He is a lovable guy who would rather sit on your lap all day than go for a long walk. He just wants to spend time with his humans and grew up in a household with 4 children and is great with them. He loves everyone he meets and you will become his new BFF instantly! He isn't a big fan of puppies or smaller dogs - can't blame the guy. He's an old soul who knows what he likes! The perfect home for Toby would be a family who is looking for a quiet, well trained dog, who can be playful like a pup or sleep all day! He is housebroken and crate trained and enjoys sleeping in his crate. He also knows basic commands. He's such a sweet boy who knows the perfect companion is out there waiting for him!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
