Meet Bandit Reynolds - a 4.5 month old, Australian Shepherd mix, who weighs 28 pounds (as of 8/10/25).
Bandit was originally found as a stray pup who had been abandoned in Tennessee... she was thrown out of a car if you can even believe that!!
Bandit Reynolds is an energetic and active pup who is so beautiful and has the most mysterious eyes and a heart full of love. She loves cuddles and enjoys being the center of attention. Bandit is a very smart girl who loves to have belly rubs and snuggles. She enjoys being around other dogs (both big and small) and would love to have a resident doggy BFF to help burn some of her energy.
Bandit is funny and goofy as she plays with her toys, throwing them in the air and then flopping on top of them as they land. We'd recommend a home with adults and dog savvy children because she does have lots of energy and might knock over any littles. She is living in a foster home with a 9 & 5 yr old and is doing fine. She does have some normal puppy behaviors and the foster mom is working on training her.
She has a very gentle spirit and would love nothing more than to find her fur-ever home. Are you ready to be Bandit’s new parent?
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
