Meet Kermit
Kermit is a bouncy and active guy who would make a great companion for someone who loves the great outdoors. His favorite things in life are sniffy walks, quality time with his favorite people, and above all, FOOD! This adorable man will look at you with those unique puppy dog eyes of his, and you’ll absolutely melt. Just beware – he will use his handsome face to bribe you for table scraps! We’re working on teaching him boundaries around food, which also means we don’t approach him when he’s eating. We want Kermit to know that he’s safe, and to learn that he can trust humans to feed him and let him eat in peace. This also helps build trust, which is important for Kermit as he can be worried around strangers. He may not want pets right away, but will make it clear when he’s ready (and he’s sooo soft!). In the meantime, he’ll benefit from a nice quiet spot in the home that’s all his own, where he can enjoy long-lasting chews undisturbed and snug with his favorite stuffies. While in our care Kermit has enjoyed hanging out with some other dogs, but he can be selective, so potential canine siblings should come meet him at the shelter before he goes home.
