Look no further - you've found the pup of your dreams! Dreamy Comet is a cosmic delight!

Dreamy Comet - a 1 1/2 yr old, Black Lab mix, who weighed 42 pounds (as of 4/1/25). She was dumped with her sister, Star Comet, when they were pups and the two sisters are now looking to find their own families to love unconditionally!

**Meet Dreamy Comet – The Sweetest, Most Gentle Girl!**

Dreamy has been in rescue for over a year, patiently waiting for her happily ever after—and we can’t believe she hasn’t been scooped up yet! This gentle, silly, and soft-hearted girl has the kind of personality that makes every day brighter.

Dreamy is a sensitive soul who adores her people. She can be a little shy at first when meeting someone new, but it doesn’t take long for her to figure out that new people = pets and treats. Once she realizes she’s safe, she blossoms into a cuddly, goofy companion who loves to be close by. Her favorite place to sleep is on a big soft bed right next to you, where she can soak up the comfort of being near her person.

This funny girl has a playful side too—especially when it comes to toys! Dreamy LOVES digging through the toy box, pulling out every single toy, and bouncing happily from one to another like she’s hosting her own little party. She also enjoys chewing on bones and settling in with her favorite stuffy.

Dreamy is dog-friendly and loves to romp and run with her canine friends. She’s on the softer side in play, preferring to chase and gently wrestle. She’s also wonderful with cats, often choosing to lay next to them or follow them around like a sweet little shadow.

Outside, Dreamy is happy to either bask in the sunshine or head right back in after a quick potty—she’s equally content in both worlds. She loves her treats (and will even do little happy dances when she’s especially excited). Car rides are a breeze for her, especially if a pup cup is involved, and she does great at doggy daycare too.

Dreamy is crate trained, potty trained, and walks decently on leash. She’s still working on her confidence outside and can get spooked on occasion, but with continued positive reinforcement, she’ll only get better.

Dreamy is looking for a patient and loving home where she can continue to build confidence and feel safe. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, she might just be the perfect match!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
