Meet Ed, a 7 year old pomsky (Pomeranian with a Siberian Husky mix). Ed came to us from a commercial breeding facility, where he was not getting the care and socialization he needed to thrive. These guys have experienced a lot of change and stress, and are now looking for a new home with a patient and compassionate family that can give them the time they need to rebuild trust and confidence.
Ideal adopters will cherish the quiet moments, providing a peaceful, low-traffic environment where our furry friend can feel safe and secure. If there are children in the home, they should be ready to help give him the patience and space he needs to slowly build confidence at his own pace. With understanding and commitment, this precious soul is ready to embark on a journey of healing and companionship, filling your home with boundless love and gratitude.
Ed is currently being treated for heartworm, which might sound intimidating, but we promise it’s not scary! Our staff is ready to get you up to speed on his current routine. He needs to stay chill and relaxed during his treatment, and would love some toys, snacks, or other fun things to work on while he settles into his new home.
Stop by our Cape Cod Adoption Center to meet Ed. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 1pm-4pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
