Meet Max
This guy! Have you seen a cuter doggy smile? Max is a teenaged, perfectly sized pittie who is both house trained and crate trained. He already knows leave it and drop it, which are amazingly useful commands for a puppy. He has a good history of living with children and he prefers playing with dogs smaller than he is. Big dogs can make him nervous. That is the thing about Max. He is sweet and sensitive, just not that brave. Max can be worried meeting new people. He is hoping his adopters will keep his world small and safe as he acclimates to his new family. Once he knows you, Max is sweet and cuddly and will lean in for chin scritches. Using some management, Max could possibly live with another dog or cat. This is a good boy looking for a family of his own. Would you like to meet Max?
If you think Max could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
