Meet Jemma
Jemma is an adorable puppy who is sweet, and loving, and a bit scared ofthe world. She is looking for an adopter that will give her time to adjustto her new environment and keep her world small and controlled. She hasbeen through so many changes lately and is finding it hard to be brave. Ifyou give her a chance to settle, she will show you that she is just a sillypuppy. She does love her toys! While Jemma is uncomfortable around bigrowdy dogs, she enjoys walking and hanging out with mellow dog friends. So, she could possibly live with the right dog. We do not know if she hasever met cats or kids. Cats are a possibility, if your cat can handle acurious puppy. And kids should be old enough to read Jemmas body languageto know when she wants to be pet and when she needs a break. Jemma isstill young so her adopter will need to puppy proof the house and work onall her puppy manners. Luckily this good girl really wants to please youand loves her treats. She is just perfect for training. Jemma is a dogwho would just blossom with a loving family. Would you like to meet her?
If you think Jemma could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
