Pawlished to perfection — meet the OPALITE litter!

Meet Odessa Opalite - a 3 month old, Yellow Lab / Hound mix, who weighs about 14 pounds (as of 10/21/25). Odessa and her siblings were found as strays in Tennessee. They were found in the woods by a family who were selling their house. We're not sure how they ended up there - but we're so happy we found them when we did. These babies are a beautiful mixture of colors and could be a number of breeds mixed up! This gorgeous girl is ready to find her forever family!

Odessa Opalite is an absolutely sweetheart and a cuddlebug! She likes to be held and has a sweet personality that even comes off as a bit - it's very endearing! She has no interest in conflict or rough housing with her siblings, and she will quickly find somewhere else to be. Since she is still young, she will need all puppy training (and the love and patience that go with it!). She will be great in any home and is sure to adapt quickly! She is a sweet, pretty, little pup waiting for her new home!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
