Meet Rita! She’s a sweet little senior who enjoys quiet walks and sleeping under the covers with her humans. Rita can be worried at first, so it’s important to go at her pace and wait for her to show she’s ready for touch. She has some difficulty riding in the car, and may grow more comfortable over time, or she might prefer to remain a homebody. Rita has coexisted well with other dogs at the shelter, though she may get some big feelings seeing them out on walks. She prefers canine friends who won’t try to play with her – she’s over that puppy stuff!
