Meet Maize, a sweet senior gal is ready for her next adventure. Don’t let her age fool you— Maize still has plenty of pep in her step and would love a family who enjoys playing fetch and tug. In her previous home, she also loved going swimming. That said, her very favorite activity is a nice, slow, sniff-filled walk. Maize isn’t always comfortable around other dogs, so she’d prefer to be your family’s one and only. In her previous home, she was known to chase small animals, so she’ll need an adopter who can patiently help her learn to leave little critters alone. She also doesn’t love sharing her resources, so it’s important that her new family respects her boundaries.If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a love for life’s simple joys, Maize might be the perfect match for you!
