Meet Willow
* My adoption fee will be waived February 13-15 *
Meet Willow! Don’t let her droopy face and sad eyes fool you — she’s a happy-go-lucky, super wiggly gal who loves playing with toys and romping in the snow! Willow can be nervous at first, but in her time with us, we’ve seen her blossom into a social and playful pup. She even tosses toys for herself!
Willow would thrive in a calm and patient home, ideally without much hustle and bustle, with adopters who are committed to helping her decompress in a new space and sticking to her timeline to keep her comfortable. Once she’s acclimated to her space, adopters should be ready to help her hone her manners. We think with a patient, gentle approach and a good sense of humor, Willow will blossom into a great running or hiking buddy for an active adopter who loves the great outdoors.
Willow could live with a well-matched dog friend who can handle rowdy play. She has a positive history with young kids, but as she can be slow to warm up, we recommend any people and dogs in the home come meet her at the shelter prior to adoption.
Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Willow. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30am-5pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
