This Fluffy dog needs your TLC! An estimated 1-year-old Terrier mix from Kings County, Fluffy is learning her comfort levels with her unique, sometimes overwhelming new digs of the big city. She appreciates patient and considerate interactions from humans, and doesn’t appreciate if we force her into accepting our affection and love. She’s still learning that humans have a lot of that to give her, and we help her learn by building her confidence through choice. If she chooses to come forward, she gets treats (!) and loving praise from us. Slowly but surely, she’s exploring the concrete blocks beyond her room, and when she really feels comfortable, even spontaneously getting zoomies in our dog park.
