Corndawg is a shy little guy with a lot of potential. Life hasn’t always made sense to him, but he’s taking steps toward trusting people and feeling safe in the world. He’s not the kind of dog who will bound up to greet you right away, but with quiet companionship, a pocket full of treats, and plenty of patience, Corndawg will start to let you in. He’s looking for an adopter who understands that progress may come slowly, and that’s okay because the reward of earning his trust is something truly special. Something funny about this guy is that he LOVES cats. He does best when he’s in a home with minimal humans, but needs to have at least another dog or cat in the home. This helps him be his bravest self.
