Meet Harrison
Say hey to Harrison, a handsome senior min pin mix looking for his new home! Harrison is a conoisseur of all things cozy: snoozing on the couch, sampling a few snacks, or going on sniffy walks out in the world. As an older gentleman, Harrison is looking to head to a lower-traffic home where he can live out his golden years in comfort and style – if there are children in the home, they should be ready to help practice petting consent, and give him space when he needs to sneak in a nap or two. Harrison lived with another dog in the previous home, and could go home with a mellow dog companion, or potentially a dog-savvy cat, with a slow introduction.
Harrison is currently on medication to manage his hypothyroidism, which is when his body isn’t producing enough of the thyroid hormone on its own. Adopters should plan to check in with their vet to establish ongoing care to help this kiddo feel his best – staff can tell you more about his current plan!
