Meet Cheerio
Oh. This little face belongs to Cheerio. Such a sweet, silly, friendly little guy. Cheerio was born deaf and with limited vision. Yet watching him play with his brothers and sisters, he is playfully right in the thick of things. This good little guy will need patient adopters who can help him become the best of best dogs. He is such a baby, he has not yet learned anything. And with his impairment, it will be an added challenge. It is recommended that Cheerio goes home to an older helper dog who could show him around. Although Cheerio has never met a cat, that might work starting with complete separation. And children who could help with Cheerios training plan would be perfect. Adopters will need to puppy-proof the house and everything else a young puppy entails. Bringing a puppy home is a lot of work. Yet, they bring so much joy. Would you like to help this little guy out? Come meet Cheerio. You wont regret it.
If you think Cheerio could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
