When we first saw Gonzo at the Clearlake shelter, she was living in a small x-pen with a bunch of husky puppies. She was quiet and kept to herself. This was not the right environment for puppies to be growing up in. We rescued her and the huskies, only to find out they had parvovirus, a very serious intestinal infection. Gonzo was an absolute trooper through her treatment and is now a healthy, happy, 36 pound young dog. She’s the sweetest and most joyful gal you’ll ever meet, and she can’t wait to have a family of her own. Gonzo is social with people and dogs alike.
