Meet Dakota
Introducing Dakota! This young lady is so adorable with her big, round, chocolate colored eyes, a perfectly pouty lip, and ears that make her look like a teddy bear! While she can sometimes take some time to warm up to new people, once comfortable, she will show off her big personality. Dakota has a lot of energy and enjoys an active lifestyle. While she is no longer a puppy, she still has that puppy energy and gets up to those classic puppy antics, so she would do best with an adopter who is excited to continue her positive reinforcement training…and puppy proof their home! Dakota enjoys dog friends and could likely live with another active, playful dog in her next home. She may also do well with older kids who don’t mind a rowdy dog and can participate in her training. Dakota says no thanks to living with cats. If Dakota’s beautiful eyes have drawn you in… come in and meet her for yourself!
Stop by our Boston Adoption Center to meet Dakota. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm - 3pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
