Ixora is a beautiful young cattle dog mix with a bright spirit and an even brighter mind. This girl wants to be involved in everything you do, if you're moving, she's moving right alongside you! She takes treats softly and knows 'sit' and 'place' when it's time to go to her crate, and 'come.' She is a bit timid but her confidence blossoms in quiet environments like hiking trails and open fields. She is a wonderful running and walking companion, moving on a loose leash whether she's on a trail run or a neighborhood stroll. She loves to meet new people and animals, greeting dogs she's encountered on walks with a polite sniff. She would do well in a peaceful home with a confident older pup who can help show her how to navigate the world. Ixora craves playtime and enjoys tug of war, fetch and chasing sprays of water from the hose.
