Meet Denney
Denney is a good boy who loves to romp around in a pen and play with his toys. If you are a good friend, he will even trot around and show off his favorite toys. Silly boy. Denney also enjoys taking long sniffy walks. And he knows sit. Just ask him! Poor Denney is finding shelter life to be stressful. He is hoping his adopters will start off keeping his world small and predictable. Although Denney loves playing with his dog friends, he can sometimes have a pushy play style. So for a start, it is suggested that Denney have some well matched dog buddies but be the only dog in the home. He could possibly live with a cat starting with complete separation. And Denney did well living with children in his previous home. That should work again if the kids are up for a bouncy lab. This young guy has it in him to become the best boy. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
