Hi there! My name is Churro and I'm a 2-year-old, neutered Pit Bull that currently weighs about 40lbs. Don't let my serious face fool you! I'm a lover not a fighter! All I want from people and dogs is attention and play time. I love being petted and will drop and roll right onto your feet to keep you close for some serious belly rubs! I can be a little mouthy once the petting stops in an attempt to keep you close. Therefore, I prefer to live in an adult only home or one with children that are at least 10 years old. When it comes to the outdoors, I may not be a long distance runner but my stubby legs can certainly keep up on long walks as long as there is sniffing time involved. I'm currently working on potty training. My foster family says I'm mostly accident free now. I'm hoping for a family that is prepared to give me tons of training, exercise, and of course, love. In exchange for your patience and dedication, I will give you my extreme loyalty and companionship and an endless supply of affection and cuddles! You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
