This 6-month-old Chihuahua recently came to us from Fresno Animal Center, Einstein-esque hair and all. Standing at a fierce 9lbs, Smartie is always using his big brains to figure out just how to navigate the world around him. He is certain of many things, including cuddles and soft toys. His one uncertainty: stairs (but he’s getting there with his many staff and volunteer cheerleaders here at the shelter).
