Racer is all about belly rubs and good vibes. The second he sees you, he’s rolling over with the world’s happiest grin, ready for some petting time. This cream-colored poodle-terrier mix is pure joy in dog form. He loves people, loves attention, and somehow makes every moment feel fun. It’s impossible not to smile when he’s around because his energy is just that contagious. Racer is a very good boy, always thrilled to be loved, and even happier to return the favor.Here’s some notes from his foster:My favorite thing about Racer is how incredibly sweet and kind-hearted he is. He instantly stole both my heart and my boyfriend’s heart! He’s affectionate, gentle, and just loves being close, especially when getting ear scratches and back rubs. :)Racer will make a great companion because he’s friendly, calm, and easygoing! He’s great on leash, doesn’t bark or whine, and is very social~ he approaches both people and dogs with a wagging tail. He’s also comfortable being held and his paws touched.It’s really endearing how much he loves sniffing everything on walks, despite being 12, he’s still so curious and spunky. He also has a soft spot for scratches behind his right ear and he always puts up his left paw when he wants food or a treat!A perfect day for Racer would include a nice walk on a sunny day where he can sniff till his heart’s content, lots of pets and affection (especially ear scratches + back rubs), and spending time near his people.
