Hi there! My name is Rose and I'm a 5-month-old, spayed Australian Shepherd that currently weighs about 30lbs! I'm a high energy girl that's hoping for a family that is familiar with herding breeds and/or deaf dogs. Aussies are known to need a lot of physical and mental enrichment. That means I'll need tons of playtime and exercise but also puzzles and brain games. I'm currently working on my social skills. I'm a little unsure in new situations, but I'm hoping to be brave when I'm older. Can you help me? I'm very smart and I don't let my deafness hold me back. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
