Meet Maybelle
Meet Maybelle! This very special friend is only 7 months old with a whole exciting life ahead of her. She has a little bit of catching up to do to be the confident, silly girl we know she can be, but with some patience and thoughtful support, we are confident MB will make a wonderful addition to your family.
Maybelle has spent a bit of time in a foster home where we have learned that she’s a sensitive girl who finds a lot of things overwhelming or scary, but with the right support from her people and a couple of helper dog foster siblings, she can really blossom. She is an expert slipper carrier, can run like the wind, and loves to cuddle up for a good snooze during quiet time each evening. We think MB would do best in a home with a confident dog friend by her side.
Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Maybelle. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30am-5pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
