Hello there, my name is Tilin! I'm a neutered, 5-year-old, Labrador/Shepherd mix that weighs about 72lbs. I'm a gentle and curious gentleman that likes to take my time getting to know new people. I really love taking in the great outdoors, sniffing and exploring are my favorite! Once we are friends, I am a sweet and affectionate guy that just wants to be with you. I recently spent time with a PHS Volunteer! Here's how I did:
Took Tilin out this morning and he is such a gentleman! When I walked into his dorm he stood absolutely still while I put his gear on and waited for me to open the door with no lunging or pushing to get out. He didn’t seem to have any interest in the yard so we started our walk right away. I was expecting a lot of pulling but he walked at a slow pace with his nose to the ground the entire walk with no pulling at all. He was interested in looking at other people across the street on a couple of occasions-he would just stop and stare. Overall, Tilin was a great companion and I noted no behavior problems at all. When we got back to his dorm he really wanted some affection and we sat together for a while so I could pet him. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
