Sadly, a lot of times, our mutts don’t have much backstory, but luckily that’s not the case for our dear friend Bonkers! Named for his limited vision (he quite literally “bonks” into things), Bonkers came with his own booklet describing some of his most pertinent characteristics. This lovely cream and tan swirled terrier mix is described as very smart and able to easily map his surroundings and responding to the commands “steppie up” and “steppie down” if you’d like to help him out. The booklet also contains his likes and dislikes, although we’ve figured out a few of our own – he likes neck scratches and being told he’s a handsome boy. We’re bonkers for Bonkers, and we hope you will be too!Here’s some notes from his foster:Bonkers is a love bug – he enjoys meeting people and other dogs. He would do great in a home with another dog as he really gets so excited to see them. He is very low key and low maintenance – likes to be next to you while you are working or curled up on or next to you on the couch. He enjoys walks when the weather is warm, he isn’t a fan of the cold weather or wind. He loves to get pets and just be loved on. He’s such a gentle, kind soul!
