Hi there, my name is Carmella, I am a 1 year old spayed female shepherd mix that currently weighs 33lbs. I am a sweet but shy girl. I'm still feeling nervous and unsure about the world and still slowly learning to trust people. I have been told that I am making great progress however, and also walk well on a leash. Once I'm comfortable, my curious and gentle nature shines through and I love to explore at my own pace as I continue to build confidence each day. With patience, understanding and a calm loving home, I'll be sure to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. Before taking me home with you, please be sure to bring everyone in the household including any resident dogs to meet me.

You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
