Hi there, I'm Pickles The Puppy! I am a three month old, neutered male, Great Pyrenees mix who will be between 80-100 pounds when fully grown- hope you're ready for a big boy! I am very typical for a Pyrenees, independent, reserved and cautious when first meeting new folks, but give me some pets and treats, and my playful, goofy side will come out. I'd do best with folks who are committed to continuing my training, as I am quite a smart cookie! I also would thrive with people who have had livestock guardian breed experience, as if I'm not well socialized, I can have difficulty adjusting in new situations. If you are looking forward to building a strong bond with a sweet guy- you should come and check me out! I'd love to meet the whole family, including any resident dogs- before going home. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
