Parton has this happy, excited look he gets, full body joy, and when he’s really having a good time he breaks into this goofy grin that just makes your day better.He trusts so quickly. A little time and patience and suddenly he’s leaning into you like he’s known you forever. He has his one favorite person, but he still comes running for love from everyone else in the house too.If you want to see him truly happy, rub his belly and chest. The second he thinks it might happen he throws himself onto his back, paws in the air, completely thrilled about it.He’s a little unsure around new people at first, but he warms up fast. Kids have already petted him and tugged on him and he’s handled all of it with patience. Same with other dogs. A little curious about the small ones, more cautious with the big ones, but no issues with any dog so far.His leash manners are great, he hasn’t barked once, and he has this confident little trot that makes strangers at the park stop and smile. He’s smart too.
