Meet Mia, a sweet, smart, and cuddly girl. She loves nothing more than a good game of fetch and will happily chase after the ball for hours so is looking for an active family! She is a determined dog looking for a patient and understanding adopter who is willing to adjust her environment and management plan in real-time to help her succeed. With proper training and management, Mia has the potential to learn new behaviors. Flexibility and observation are key as Mia`s new family supports her growth.
In the beginning, Mia will benefit from a controlled environment, to help her make the right decisions during her transition. Mia is looking for a patient adopter who is excited about training using positive reinforcement. An adopter who understands or is eager to learn how to read dog body language and respects her petting consent will be key. Mia prefers to be the only dog in the household and will thrive in a home that can offer her the structure and patience she needs to flourish.
