Hello there, I'm Chappell! I'm a spayed, 3 year old, Belgian Malinois mix that currently weighs about 55lbs. I'm a sweet, playful lady that would love to go home with a family that is comfortable and knowledgeable with Malinois. My new family should also be prepared to continue my training since I'm still working on my doggy social skills and learning to share. I absolutely adore human attention! Ear rubs are my favorite! My PHS volunteer friends say I'm a great walking companion because I don't pull and I check in frequently. If you have a dog of a similar size, please bring him or her in so we can say hello before I officially join the family! You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
