Would you believe the biggest dog here at the shelter might also be the nicest? Meet Rocky. He is a gentle giant. This good boy walks beautifully on a leash. He likes playing with his toys, yet is also chill enough to hang out on a bench and people watch. Rocky loves to be petted. If you find that sweet spot on his shoulder, he will absolutely melt right into you. Brace yourself: he leans in hard!
Rocky has successfully lived with a cat in his previous home. He could also probably live with a well-matched mellow dog friend. And although he has never lived with children, he loves kids. So that has potential to work out well.
Rocky is a big dog who is a little older. He is ready to find his forever family. And that family will fall in love with this gentle soul. Come visit Rocky at the MSPCA in Methuen. Open hours are Tuesdays through Sundays from 12PM to 4:30PM.
