Meet Ruger! This snuggly boy thinks he’s a total lap dog and loves nothing more than curling up with you for some quality cuddle time. Ruger is also incredibly smart and enjoys training, so an adopter who is knowledgeable in positive reinforcement or is willing to learn will be a great fit for him. While Ruger has met other dogs here at the shelter, he can get a bit worried if they’re too pushy or energetic. We think he’d do well with another well-matched dog, as long as there’s a slow and controlled introduction. Ruger is ready to bring his sweet and affectionate nature into a loving home!
