This is a litter of super pups who are ready to save the day—just like Dog Man!

This litter is named after the Dog Man books, and are the pups to sweet Kia Momma (picture included)! These pups were born on 1/30/25 while in foster care and are all happy, healthy and ready to find their forever families!

Sarah Hatoff Kia is currently 3 months old, and weighs about 18-20 pounds (as of 4/16/25). Their momma weighs 40 pounds fully grown and is a Husky mix.

Her foster shares: (Updated 4/16/26) Sarah Hatoff has a spunky personality as fun as her name. A mini-me of her mama with one blue eye and one black eye, she has striking physical features, and we are waiting to see if her ears stick up like her husky-mix mama’s or if they remain adorably floppy. Cuteness aside, she is sure to capture your heart with her endearing character. Sarah is a quick learner who quickly catches on to what is expected, like being calm for attention, food and treats. Four on the floor has been her mantra in foster since weaning. She is treat-motivated and will excel with one on one coaching. She is learning to do her potty business outside or on a pad, and she has early recall practice with a generic “puppy” song that is sung before each meal and to catch her attention. Just be sure to have treats!

She loves running around the yard but will also calmly sit and observe nature and the happenings around her. Sarah can happily entertain herself with a chew, lick mat, snuffle mat or ball for an age-appropriate amount of time. She has never met a stranger and she adores her puppy-savvy foster brother. She shows appropriate curiosity in other dogs and would probably benefit from a calm, older canine sibling to help her learn to be her best self. Sarah would thrive in a home with people whom more often than not, who are dedicated to ongoing positive training, and who fully appreciate the commitment needed to raise a balanced dog. She has only know love and security as she has been in foster since she was a couple of days old. Let’s set this girl up for success and find her a home in which she can reach her full super hero potential!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
