Meet Ava
Ava is a pittie mix with a heart full of love and energy! At first, Ava is nervous when meeting new people, but once she warms up, she becomes a fun-loving, playful companion who is always eager to be near her favorite humans. Her sweet nature shines through as she brings joy and silliness to every moment. Ava loves to play with other dogs and is always up for a good game. Her affectionate personality makes her the perfect addition to any home looking for a playful, loving, and energetic furry friend!
Ava is still working on some basic training, so she is looking for an owner who is dedicated to helping her work on polite greetings, leash walking, and some puppy basics! At the shelter, Ava is a staff and volunteer favorite and even the other dogs love her! Ava is a candidate to live with a polite dog friend who`s down for a good romp! She does not have experience living with cats, though with a careful introduction may do well. Ava has spent time in a previous home with younger, very respectful kids and did well.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
