Meet Wrigley, a fun-loving adventure buddy with a heart full of energy and joy! This active, silly dog is ready to bring his playful spirit into your home, but he thrives in a calm, patient environment where he can unwind and feel comfortable. Wrigley loves his independent playtime and is great at entertaining himself, but he also enjoys a game of fetch with his favorite human when he`s ready for some interaction.
Wrigley has made wonderful progress when it comes to petting consent and interacting on his terms, and hes looking for an adopter who can continue building trust and confidence through positive reinforcement. Hes a smart boy who responds well to clear guidance and would do best with someone who understands dog body language and can help him feel secure while learning new things.
Wrigley plays well with other dogs at the shelter and might enjoy having a canine friend, although he may prefer starting off as your one and only while he settles in. He could also do well with a dog-savvy cat, as long as theres a careful introduction and attention to resource management. Older children who understand dog-body language and can respect his space would be a great fit for this sweet boy.

Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat areas will remain open to walk through.
