Meet Deniro
Meet Deniro, the biggest, smushiest lapdog you`ll ever meet! This lovable goofball is all about fun and play, and there`s nothing he loves more than sprawling out across your lap with his favorite toy in tow. Full of energy and enthusiasm, Deniro is ready to be your ultimate adventure buddy, always up for long walks and exploring new places. He has been working hard on his leash manners, and the progress he has made is incredible!
While Deniro thrives in active environments, he is looking for a quieter home to return to after his adventures. The hustle and bustle of the shelter has made him a little nervous, and he is still learning that not every stranger is there for a cuddle session. With some patience and guidance, Deniro will continue to grow more confident and comfortable. His new family will need to help him learn how to unwind and relax on his own (a bully stick or a good chew toy works wonders!), and continue working on his training.
Deniro would do best in a home where kids can actively participate in his training and are not fazed by his playful, bouncy energy. If you are ready for a big, lovable companion whos equal parts silly and sweet, Deniro could be the perfect match for you!
Do you want to be his person? Stop by MSPCA at Northeast Animal Shelter. We have open adoption hours 11:30am-5pm daily no appointment or application needed.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat areas will remain open to walk through.
