Hi there! My name is Coquette and I'm a spayed, 1 and a half year old, shepherd mix that currently weighs about 30lbs. With a wrinkly little forehead and flip-flop ears (could my face be any cuter!?), I'm a flirty little heart-stealer. Look no further for the perfect-sized dog: small enough to cuddle on the couch with you (just watch out for my leaping enthusiastically into your arms), but large enough to hold my own with the big dogs and go on long hikes and other outdoor adventures. I am quite athletic and love romping and running. Yes, I am initially quite shy and wary of new people but give me just a few hours of warm up time and I’ll be your best friend for life. I can entertain myself for hours with chew bones and other toys. I love to chase balls! Did I mention I’m house trained, and crate trained? I’m nice and quiet and rarely bark. I am not leash reactive and love to meet other dogs. Although I'm a great play buddy for dogs, I would prefer to keep a healthy distance from children. I'm not too sure about kids, my ideal home will be with adults only. My friends at PHS think someone will be very lucky to get this full package of a dog with a lot of enthusiasm and personality! You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
