Sublime by name, divine by nature! Their mission is to make the world sweeter, one cuddle at a time.
Ruby Sublime Momma is the proud mama to the SUBLIME litter! Star Sublime and her siblings are Black and Tan / Blue Tick Coonhound mixes, who are 16 weeks old. As of 3/31/25, Star Sublime weighs approx 15 pounds. Her momma weighs about 45 pounds (photo attached), so we can expect these pups to be around that size once they're fully grown.
Star Sublime is your typical pup - sweet & playful! She is looking for a loving and patient family who will spend time teaching her how to be the best pup she can be. She will want to go on fun adventures and sniff out all the wondrous smells that the world has to offer. We know Star Sublime is going to make a wonderful family member!
Star is still doing well with the crate. She’s been fantastic on walks and really seems to understand the leash now. She likes to take her time and stroll, sniffing as she goes. She doesn’t pull on the leash. Star is a very easy puppy. She’s very calm and she likes to snuggle with our resident dogs, and with her fellow foster puppy. Star has also met several neighborhood dogs and she’s done fantastic with them. She’s met our cats and did well with them too. She was curious and wanted to sniff them, but showed no signs of wanting to chase them.
Star is smart and is learning sits and downs. She’s observant and she watches us and our dogs to learn what our patterns are and how to respond in new situations. Star did very well with a crowded house full of guests for Easter. She spent most of the afternoon snuggled between my in-laws on the couch and enjoying belly rubs.
She likes to sing to herself. This morning, she was on a chair in the living room just kind of talking to herself. I tried to get it on video, but she caught me and stopped. It's like a happy, playful singing. She doesn't bark AT anyone or anything.
Star seems to have good recall. She will come running from wherever she is in the house if you call her name.
Star is a climber. She can climb out of the pen, so we've been working on the crate. She can climb up onto our bed, which is pretty high off the floor for a puppy. When she succeeds at one of her climbs, she looks so proud of herself. As with any puppy, consistent training will help the pup succeed in life.
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
